I hope your foot gets better.
I know how inconvenient that can be.
You will have to stop running on Good to Firm.

Agree with you Micko that it was sad to hear of Freddie Williams' death. I saw him at many Cheltenham Festivals and he was always just as happy to take a tenner as JP's multi-thousands. He was a one-off but let's hope another bookie steps forward to take on the big hitters.

BBS (Before Betting Shops) I worked in the credit office of Albert Cook & Son, Wandsworth Road, London. One day a client rang to ask the price of a runner in the National. The client was (Sir) Peter O'Sullevan. I asked the guvnor for a price and he hastily scanned the ads in the Sporting Life. Clipping 10 points off the lowest price he said "Offer him 40-1" - to which the dulcet tones of Sir Peter said: "Oh, is that all? Tell Albert he is not very generous, especially as the horse died yesterday evening!"

Aah... those were the days...

Bert come on mate lets have a nice winner mate for your loyal followers so i can go on a nice little racing holiday over to Ireland for a few days. A nice PCH handicapper would do nicely mate odds = 33/1 +++ would be nice as well although will accept 2-1 + for a cert tho.
