My wife will not let me have any NH race horses, simply because of the risk of fatality. Luckily I am allowed the odd flat horse and my most recent 2 YO has a name that a friend of mine came up with. It sounds like a break from betting would be a good idea; I am taking a break myself at the moment. I liken the form I am in to a virulent virus for which there appears to be no cure and one just has to sweat it out and wait for it to pass. Whatever I do I cannot back a winner, whether I study a race for an hour or just follow the money - it makes no difference as the "virus" strikes again and again. I will dip my toe back into the water every now and again to see if the virus has passed but until it does there is no point in trying to beat it. I am writing to you in the hope that you could help me out, i am an amateur jockey which i do for a pleasure and hobby i have previously ridden in 11 charity races over the last 4 years for lots of great charities. I am riding in early May at Uttoxeter in a memorial race for the late Ed Weetman. The race is over 1m.2f flag start i have been placed in 4 races but have never won one. I was hoping you would be so generous as to allow me to ride one of your horses, if possible kings head as i have seen the horse run on a few occasions and i feel i would win the race on it. I collect sponsorship for the charity with the inclusion that should i win its double to the charity.
