A big day today as Morana takes his chance at G1 level.
I’ve spoken to Pete throughout the week, and had another chat this morning. He’s as well as he’s ever been and he should relish the conditions. I don’t see any reason why he won’t run extremely well - there are some big reputations in the race but he’s a proven group performer and it would be cowardly to duck out. Bring it on.
I’ve backed Morana but I’ve also backed Coordinated Cut who is a fantastic physical specimen - I’d naturally support him anyway if Morana wasn’t in the race and it’s a hedge of sorts.
I have two going at Kempton tonight in the last two races - Bea Menace and Tikka Masala. Both should run well - I haven’t given them much thought as my thoughts have been with Morana.

Good luck, I think he should be in first four.
Fingers and toes crossed here in Buenos Aires (eyes too after a night on the Malbec).
Good luck with Marine Boy today Bert, looks a tough race but I thought the last effort by Marine showed promise.
Yours looks a fair prospect Jon - unlucky not to get her head in front. I think Marine Boy should go well enough today - I thought he ran very well last time.
Cheers Bert… I’m going to see Vegas Palace tommorrow morning at ONEWAY before the move to Manour House. I hope to give Marine Boy a well deserved Polo when I get there!!!!
I think Vegas has a win in her and we are looking forward to some fun through the winter with her on the AW.
