I'm interested in in-breeding, and I've spent time reading up on genetics to try and understand that better. I take the view that the general stallion stats published are badly distorted by the quality of mares sent to them and I tend to do my own research. Would be interested to hear how you decided upon the sires for your mares. I have been reading up on breeding and I am not certain stats have been compiled as accurately as you would have expected and those who comment on the subject rely more on gut feelings.
