Excellent Post.
Crisis of Capitilism or just a blip?
Worse to come?
I suspect he was not the only one at it.

Excellent post. This is just crooked behaviour and will have set confidence back in banks and the markets years. Anyone who has worked hard and established a portfolio of shares and a few quid in the bank have taken a real hit.

Makes gambling on the horses seem a more worthwhile pastime than ever.

When the incentive is a bonus on top of an already lucrative salary it creates a gambling culture within these hedgefunds - they are in a no-lose situation.

I enjoy the blog Andrew, keep up the good work! Can't wait to see how these Deep Impact foals turn out - just recently been reviewing his races on Youtube, awesome.

Cheers

This is an horrific scenario; all these obscene "bonuses" have always been distasteful imo and hopefully we shall never hear of them again - well, not for a few decades!

The $50bn black hole ought to be filled in by all those who can be traced as having had anything to do with it, innocently or not. Nobody should be allowed to retain ANY of this scam scheme money.
