Hi Bert,
obviously big dissapointment yesterday with Marine Boy. I have thought back to that first awesome run and the promise shown. In the Trading Post section today they quite strongly word "Marine Boy missed the break and is clearly a nutcase".

Can you foresee his problems being overcome?

Yes Tom, looks very much like a phishing scam. Betfair should have a look into this.

Bert,

I have to say it was pleasing to see Theophrastus justify your faith in him after what has been, I'm sure you'll admit, a torrid time ownership wise. Has anything come to light which may explain away some of the more disappointing performances, Tikka Masala in particular (I notice that Tom Dascombe's form has tailed off a little in the last 10-12 days with a number of seemingly fancied horses running below par)?

On a quick side note; I regularly receive, as I'm sure many people do, e-mail invitations to join various tipping services and, whilst I give such correspodence no credence whatsoever, a recent 'newcomer' caught my eye this evening. The source of the e-mail (well, the URL given as the sender) would seem to be 'profitablebetting.co.uk', an address which leads you to an identical copy of Betfair's homepage if you enter it into your browser. None of the header and tabbed links are active, the 'for latest prices login' message is missing and each of the body links opens the appropriate area of Betfair in a new window. Is this a site you are aware of, as it would seem to be a vehicle for collecting unsuspecting Betfair users' details? As I don't use Betfair all that often I was tempted to try to log in, just to see what happened, but though a quick note here was better advised.

I was on Tikka and Theophrastus. There must have been some move for Tikka as she went out to 7/2 and was into 11/4 in 1 hit!! Theophrastus went well, i thought he was going to get outpaced and won point but i was happy with the 9/4.

Good news about STFCs deal with EA Sports, as a fan i hope we have some transfer activity in the summer and not just Simon Cox leaving!
