Goals at last
Feb 13th, 2008 by Bert
A 3-0 win for Swindon was just the ticket - it’s the first time we’ve scored three goals for 19 matches in the league. It’s three points and a boost for our goal difference - just as importantly it may get the team going as they’ve looked a little tense lately.
I didn’t go to the match but I had a full blow by blow commentary from Jeremy. I’m told we were very shaky to start with but we relaxed into our game after the first lucky goal. Paynter converted a nice McNamee cross well after a defensive error. Christian Roberts did what he does best, coming on late as a sub, cutting in from the wing and firing home with his first touch. Jeremy had McNamee as man of the match.
Cheltenham were on of the weaker teams in the division though - we now head into a tough spell with no easy ties in the next 11 fixtures.

Forest away - Fancy turning up for an away atmosphere you won’t forget?
We lost 7-1 last time we played Forest at home, but don’t worry we will play well this time, I hope. Big group of supporters on the way up.
Good luck Thomas….play well…maybe you’d be able to reduce the margin this time.
