Having rung around this morning I’m not recommending Scrapper Smith now. I think he’ll run well enough, but Pete likes his a lot, and I very much doubt we’re the better horse at the moment.
South Central is supposed to be something pretty special against Skid. I prefer Kensington Oval to Dr Faustus in the 4:55.

I know this is mainly a horseracing blog but I have to share the pain of me lumping on Croatia last night… boo hoo Bert is Euro betting your thing?

I haven’t had a single bet on Euro 2008 - I just haven’t got into it as I’ve had a lot of other stuff on my mind.
I used to put a lot of work into football - I had various programmes that I used to analyse the English and Scottish leagues. I didn’t bet much on international football as I never had enough to go on. I might dig up those old programmes one day and publish them on here.
I’ve backed Germany to win outright. Looking good!

Tonight I will be backing over 3.5 goals and a sneaky few bob on russia 9/2 on the machine is generous I would suggest, will take a position and look to lay. Enjoy the day of sport gentleman.
