I don't think his occasional sideswipes at Big Blue have anything more sinister to them than perhaps a fustration that there is now one big player in a marketplace that it is his remit to write about. This inevitably narrows down the list of potential articles and almost saw his column squeezed off the page. How can he have a chip on his shoulder when netprophet gave BF 9 out of 10 (not sure if he penned that one but think it was the highest mark ever awarded)?
