All systems go for Bouguereau
May 7th, 2008 by Bert
I spent the whole morning deliberating about Bouguereau and whether we should have a tilt at the Italian Derby. Pete didn’t want to go unless we flew as it’s a long way to box a horse and they invariably run badly after a long trip like that.
We thought there was a flight to Rome, but then we found it had been cancelled. We found a Cathay Pacific flight to Milan that he could go on - after a load of phone calls we managed to get it sorted.
I’m keen to give it a go as Bouguereau has been a real improver at home and we’re starting to believe in him a little more now.
We’ve spent a long time debating where we go next with Max and we’re still chewing on it.

Morning Andrew,
Never mind all that classic talk, the current issue is….
Huntingdon good to firm and watering…….blue skys and sunshine abound
Todays the day surely for Kings Head, finally.
Knock once for yes and twice for ‘get on’
Tough race for kings head, what do you think ?
Hi Andrew,
I have just read your opinion on the ‘my horses’ section
” I’m quietly hopeful”
good luck
Today was the right day for KH with the ground finally coming up firm enough for him (although we did back him last time as Gary thought it was ok). I didn’t big it up as I have to consider my co-owners - I hope I didn’t put you off.
knock knock
well done Andrew
Well done, great EW/place
cheers
