Captain my captain
Aug 3rd, 2007 by Bert
After yesterday I’m really going to struggle to ignore Ryan Moore’s rides. I watched his face after a couple of his wins - he seems to show no trace of emotion and he reminds me a bit of Lester Piggott. It’s a fairly obvious comment but I think he’ll turn out to be pretty special.
Captain Hurricane goes again today, and no doubt I’ll back him as I always do. It’ll be more in hope than anything else, although a lot of sprinters have second comings and I do believe he can come right one day. I’ve had a quick glance through the card - for what it’s worth (not a lot I suggest) my selections are as follows; Dragon Dancer, Selinka, Third Set, One Great Cat, Coasting, Captain Hurricane.
Michael Hills takes the ride on Bouguereau tomorrow - I’ll go down for it.
