Catching up
Jun 11th, 2007 by Bert
Mon Michel ran second, ridden to sleep by a horse I suspect will turn out to be pretty decent. It was disappointing but not surprising - he’ll always be better value at long odds in a competitive handicap than as a short priced favourite in a little race.
Master of the Race ran another poor race - we’ll probably stick him in a claimer somewhere next. Adam Eterno ran stone last at Brighton. Brian insists that although he’s no world beater he’s vaigly ok but he hasn’t worked out how to run yet.
The best run of the week was probably Captain Hurricane, who was well beaten (13th of 15) having run into serious traffic problems but looked good. Ryan Moore was positive after the race and increasingly I believe that one day he may win again.

Watched Captains race and he certainly had no luck(although Viking Spirit must have been one of the unluckist loser’s ever)
Wondered what you made of the 3.15 at wolverhampton DD is going?
I’d taken DD off my follow list as she was disappointing last time and I’d heard she’d been a bit disappointing on the home gallops, but it looks as if she may have come right now. She won ridiculously easily - I had a small bet on her for sanity’s sake which gets me back some of my losses.

Might be the sign you have an ungenuine horse on your hands. These types tend to run well against better horses and fail to win races they should on the form they have shown. Perhaps you bought the wrong ratings company!

The guy there, by all accounts, wrote the time figure programmes for tform in 1980! They have not changeed since.
