Easy Peasy

A nice result for Bouguereau, winning very much as he liked and doing it in good style. Realistically he only did what he had a right to do - on all known form he was in a different league to anything else in the race, and so it proved. It’s a small hurdle negotiated though, and if he comes out of the race well and progresses for the run we can continue with the Derby daydream for a little longer by aiming him at one of the trials.
Shawhill was lame yesterday and is still lame this morning. It looks minor but it is a problem as she was down to run in Cologne on April 6 - I suspect we’ll miss that date now. On the plus side Max One Two Three is warming up nicely and she looks as if she’s come on well in the winter months.

Good Luck with Boogie and the rest.
When does Winker re-appear?
Hi Andrew,
sorry about the subject change. so please forgive me and the question.
Betfair have been strongly linked and rumoured to be lining up as next sponsors of swindon, can you shed any light on it?
May i just add that Betfair (failing that., Honda)would prove extremely popular.
But whoever it is please assure us the logo wont wash off.
TG,
Winker will probably go straight for the Guineas.
Acky,
the honest answer is that I don’t know where Betfair stand on this. There are two reasons; 1) I’m on a sabbatical ATM, but more importantly 2) I have a vested interest in Swindon and it’s unethical for me to press the company to back one of my causes - I can put a proposal to them but then I have to back off.
