Good to hear Winker was looking well. Oddly enough I was out on the gallops today and saw a lovely type called Robbie. A really progressive type with a lovely coat for the time of year and a definate stayer despite a rather clumsy canter. He made easy work of the hill up to the local common and turned the corner by the lower field at pace. Unfortuantely he got distracted by a grouse, darted through a hedge, lept over a brook and was rolling in a puddle when I managed to get a lead on him...but I think he'll make a great chaser one day!

Good Luck Stephen.
Have you tried Gamcare, who might me able to offer some debt counselling assistance.
I assume you have self-excluded from all possible internet gambling sites.
Email me if I can be of any assistance.
Unfortunately my cash flow is a bit dented as well.
Hang on in there. :-).

Well, Binocular swooshed home in no uncertain style. The JPM money was probably lumped on. On the debit side, Oasis Wind and Bustan never had a look-in. Hopefully, Cloudy Lane will get me out of the mire on Saturday!

Craig and the Gambler,

Thank you for your kind words and i apologise for my prickliness.

I have been gambling (badly) for 25 years and almost lost my family through it. I went to a residential gambling rehab for 11 months and thought i had finally beaten it. Alas my addiction has come back with a vengeance and my liabilities are huge and worse is that i owe money to business acquaintences who have no idea what i have done with the money but soon will.

If it was just me i would take my medicine and try and move on but i worked hard to get my family back and my mum who is now 74 will not be able to cope with this latest episode of madness.

I have stopped gambling but i can n ot pay back this money and i wrote ta Andrew in some deluded hope he would lend me the money to pay it back and then allow me to repay him in a structured way and that would allow me to start afresh, still have my family and my self respect. i am now all alone and i am at my wits end with worry.I hate gambling, it has destroyed my life or more accurate i have allowed it to.

Thats all from me guys. Take care
