It's true that I'm an optimist on the whole - I think I've been unlucky though. I seem to have ended up with horses that start out incredibly well and then don't train on. The likes of Winker, Max and Marine Boy all showed loads of talent early and they're still doing it on the gallops, but none of them are doing it on the course. Ultimately you are responsible for your own decisions though. You can see the form and I generally report the feedback I have from the stables - I try to publish my thinking as clearly as I can and you can agree or disagree with it as you please. Hello,
