Despite the poor run I must applaud you and your colleagues in the Comic Strip Heroes for the horses' names, delving into the realms of the obscure to come up with Skid Solo. I must admit I'd forgotten him altogether before being reminded he was in Tiger years ago. As for Winker, let's hope he's soon back on course though I doubt I'll ever match the 25-1 I had for him in the Guineas. Is there any chance he'll be ready for Royal Ascot and perhaps the St James Palace Stakes? (one can dream Bert and they do come true.) Anyway thats it Bert the house is sold, the car auctioned and the flights and hotel booked for after the big race to take me to my new Villa on the Cote d'asur for a life of pure indulgence or just in case i have kept a sleeping bag and some cardboard boxes in case it all goes wrong and i end up sleeping at the back of the Savoy with the other homeless......but no lets be positive and as you saty Bring it on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a throway tenner on at 40/1 but ended up having bifggest bet of year on the French horse.
