I think I’ll enjoy the read about how things are going and ignore your tipping , because at this stage I’d be stoney broke. Is there not a contradiction there with a bookie (Betfair) giving tips…

results could certainly be better but I normally do well around this time. I do the tipping partly because I just don’t have enough interesting to blog about otherwise and partly because I think you get some insights as an owner that you don’t get as a punter. The blog is mine not Betfair’s - apart from anything else I’m on a sabbatical ATM.

I haven’t given up on the Derby but he did take a bit of a knock in Rome and has had a bit of damage to one of his hooves - he isn’t back yet. If he’s well and the going is good or softer I’d be up for a crack, but Pete may have other ideas.
