Postcard from abroad

A quick one from me from the hotel computer.
It’s not easy checking out the racing from here as all betting related sites are blocked by the Italian regulator. I can access the Racing Post site at least, where I can check out Bouguereau’s oppo.
Only six runners but no easy task on. Boug is extremely well, but he has it to do and Conduit in particular looks progressive and impressive. I’ll be hoping for the best, but I won’t have the money down on this occasion. Maybe that will do the trick for him…
It’s a typically competitive Goodwood card, and over the years this has been a meeting that I’ve done well at. I don’t know why this is - it’s probably just luck. My three against the field today;
In the Molecomb I’ll take Art Preview. Gary isn’t the type to tilt and windmills and he’s one of the most underrated trainers of a 2yo around. If he thinks he’s got a horse that can figure in a race like this then I’m not arguing.
Ryan Moore is an exceptional rider around Goodwood, and I’ll take him to score again in the last with Brian Meehan’s Frognal. Originally bought by McKeever St. Lawrence I imagine they would quite like to win their own race.
In the first at Beverley there are a few slightly disappointing types looking to break their ducks over a longer distance. The Kyllachy Kid has a mixed up pedigree and would have been hard to place for his first run, but the evidence from that run clearly suggests a longer trip. He has a bit of scope and I’ll take him to fill the each-way trixie.
As Mick says Winker goes tomorrow and I’ll have my fingers crossed for a big run. His price feels long to me, but there’s plenty at stake and I won’t be backing him. King’s Head is a likely runner on Thursday, and if the ground is right he should have a pretty decent chance - might be worth a bet.

Bring on a bit of rain for Boogy me thinks. Bert because you are refraining from having a bet on Boogy i think it will win as some rain and cut will NOT suit Condy. I simply have to have an interest on this horse as it IS going to a race soon. I think deep down Bert you believe yourself that you might prompt a win out the horse be not lumping him. Either way Bert i know you would love Boogy to win and would be thrilled to bits as will i as i am backing him as he is not just there for the fun of it.

BOOGY TO LEAD THEM ALL A MERRY DANCE AT GOODY.

Galway intersts me also and i am waiting for rain for ALHABBEEB 10/1. If it rains it wins believe me honest it will luv cut so much i am almost tempted to go over and water the damn track to bits so it will win then wont it and we will all be happy bunnies and well off ones as well.!
Hope your enjoying Italia Bert munching Pizzas and drinking the Vino eh with sly loooks at the Racing Post on-line … i know your tricks Bert … i would do the same.
Beverley today i think Trip the Light willo make up for last time out defeat by Foosgate. In the last Papparazzie may prove intersting at a price.
So lets hope Boogy leads them a meery dance.
Good luck
