I thought Nadal deserved to win and yes i would say it was easy the best tennis match ever and i recall all the Borg matches but even they didnt compare to this encounter of pure magic tennis by two super human players who have proved they are now a good bit ahead of the chasing pack. Old Murray mints is going to have to shift a bit heavier weights and practice a whole lot more if he is to challenge but sometime it does not matter how much you practice you are just not as talented as some players. Fed could easily win next year but i think perhaps the Beast from the Ballearics (majorca) could improve again.(frightening for the rest eh!!!) My TIP is Nadal with a run mortgage and pension job for next year, in fact car clothes jewelry the lot if he does improve. Bert lump on mate as you know it makes sense and MONEY.!!!!:)

Boogie should luv the rain and i hope we get a price.
I take it it will be a shovewl job for you Bertie boy eh ! ... as long as fitness is fine should be a proverbial steering job barring accidents or traffic probs. I wish it was that easy.!

Good luck tomorrow anyway. I will shou it on as i am going as i luv Newmarket.

Yes, a real nail-biter of a final. I felt sorry for Roger F but he was really up against probably the strongest and fittest player in the world. What a fine specimen of strength and power Nadal is, and an extremely talented player too. On balance he is now superior to Federer, having beaten him far more consistently when they have met. Surely he's got to be odds-on favourite for next year at Wombledin.
