Triple chance

I actually have pieces of three runners today and two of them are paper favourites.
Quaker Parrot runs in the 2:10 at Bath. She’s coming along fine at home and has a respectable chance - it’s really a question of what else is in the race. There are several likely types in the line up that could be smart - I’ll have my fingers crossed but I think she’s one to watch rather than bet on.
Tikka Masala goes in the 4:50 at Lingfield. As her name suggests she can get a bit hot and could throw her chances away by running too free. She has ability though, and should be good enough to win at this level. I think she has a great chance and if I had a bet today it would be on her - again I’ll just watch.
Theophrastus goes ain the 5:15 at Wincanton, and again has a great chance on paper. He’s a very decent prospect, but as a long distance chaser. I expect him to run very well today - we think that the penny may be dropping. He’s a short price and ideally I’d like the ground to be softer - a great chance but again no bet.

Quaker Parrot was well down the field. You were right to suggest a watching brief.
Nice performance from Theophrastus, will he go handicapping now off a highish mark or will he go chasing. He looks a nice staying chaser in the making.
