It’s a glorious day – perhaps summer is finally here. Goodwood starts and I have a early runner.
Major Eazy goes today in the Betfair sponsored Molecomb at 4:00. It’s a pretty decent race – he’ll have to step up on his last run but I give him a respectable chance and he should go well. I’ll have a small bet on him and I’ll also back Captain Gerrard who I think has a lot of scope and has improved throughout the season.
In the Betfair Cup I’ll be having a small bet on Asset, who is good on his best form and may have conditions in his favour. The 4:35 is a good looking race with several nice types running. I’ll go small on Strategic Mount. Paveroc feels like the best option in the 5:05.
