Back to the daily grind

The summer holidays wind to a close and I’m back at my desk for a while now, which feels pretty good.

Lord Peter Flint made his debut last Friday and he ran well, finishing fifth of 13 in what may have been a decent maiden.  He’s sure to improve for the run and he looks like a fine prospect.

The racing looks weak today.  Tom runs Gross Prophet at Lingfield, and the conditions look right for him – I’ll back him to follow up.  I once had a horse with James Unett and he may be coming into a bit of form.  He has two runners today at Ripon – I’ll have a little interest in both of them, preferring Symbol of Peace at the big price of 65.
