I had an amazing days betting yesterday. I had a bit of spare time and I decided to have a bet on the next race. The horse won at slightly better than 5/1 – I carried on to the next race. I ended up backing five successive winners including Darksideofthemoon which I averaged in to at over 25/1. I decided to stop for the day, but greedily came back later on for one last bet (on Art Preview) and lost about a third of my profit. It was still a very big up day.
I’m busy today and I’ll probably only have one bet on the horses – Ishe Mac in the 2:25 at Redcar, but for no particularly good reason. I think Utmost Respect is an interesting runner in the Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville tomorrow – I may have a go at him.
