Bring it on

It’s slightly irritating to come to my blog today and see that the post I wrote yesterday didn’t get posted for some reason.  I was waxing on about how amazing it was to be sitting in the Betfair tent listening to Harry Findlay and Clive Smith with Jim Lewis sitting on the side – Betfair is briefly the centre of the Cheltenham universe.

The other exciting development was Mon Michel getting into the County Hurdle against expectation.  Jamie Moore took the ride, but he is injured and has had to stand aside – Dominic Elsworth now rides.  The ground should be ok – he’d prefer it a bit firmer but it’s no disaster.  A bigger concern might be the form of the stable – all five of Gary’s horses at Cheltenham have pulled up – but his scope this morning was as clean as a whistle and his blood test was good.  Bring it on!!

I won’t be having many more bets.  I’ve had a little on Five Dream, whose form when he beat Mon Michel seems tyo have worked out ok.  In the Gold Cup I don’t want to back either Denman or Kauto so I’ve had a little on Knowhere just for amusement.
