Another horse that I bid on runs today – Mutual Friend, a decent 10f type from Ed Dunlop’s stable which was bought by David Pipe. David paid 72,000 Guineas, which is a lot for an 80 rated handicapper – like us (I had Tom Dascombe check him out) he must have liked the horse.
Tom liked the horse a lot – thought him a decent size and looked reasonably progressive. I haven’t spoken to David today but I’ll have a little on him.
