A quick post as the day’s racing is approaching.
Tom is back in the country and runs two today – I like Sawwaah running in this class, and although he’s quite a difficult ride I think Kingscote is a reliable pilot who should be able to get him home against this very moderate bunch.
Verasi comes out for Gary Moore a little later at Warwick and catches my eye. Gary’s string is going well and Verasi looks a solid alternative to a favourite who he had the measure of last time.
Russian Around is my bet for the Arkle – he has a load of talent. I haven’t spoken to Nick today but I think he’ll be fine on the ground and although this three horse race is competitive I’ll take him to get home.
