Blast Furnace goes first, and on the face if it there nothing wrong with her – it’s just a question of whether she’s good enough. She’s big and strong but a stayer and not a sprinter. She won’t want it too fast, but the prevailing good ground should suit her fine. No excuses – a win is hoped for.
Cheddar George is big strong and handsome – he looks to have a stride on him and if he has an engine he could absolutely bolt up today. I ask Brian if I should be having a bet – he said “don’t have you biggest bet”. I asked if I should have my second biggest bet – he said “have your fifth biggest bet”. I don’t think they really know what to expect of him, but he sure is a fine looking animal.
