Update

Paul Cole thinks Ollie Fliptrik will run ok but is an unlikely winner.  Nick is positive about Ours – he’s fine in himself, he should get through the testing ground and we’re looking for a big run.  Nick has two others today which will run ok and although either could win I don’t advise backing them.

Mon Michel is in great form and should show up extremely well in his race today – my concern is that it may be a very hot race.  David Pipe is very bullish on Tino Tino and this could get backed throughout the day.  I’ve also heard a word for Trompette from my Henderson man.  I’m sticking with Mon Michel – he goes well off a strong pace and I think the ground will be ok for him – but I may not back him as heavily as I could have done and I may also have the odd saver.

I’ve heard tell that Big Fella Thanks in the last at Chepstow is Nicholls’ best today.  I’ll go with Deep Purple in the Tolworth despite the drift.  I like Quarry Town in the last at Wincanton against the favourite – he may relish the conditions and could be getting the hang of things now.
