Pics

I’m getting a lot of photos in at the moment from all sorts of different places. Here are a few that have just come in;

First up, and after a long absence recovering from a broken bone in his foot is Bouguereau;

Bougie hasn’t been on the course since July 2008, when he was a very different looking animal. It was unlikely that he would ever recover from his injury, but he has done a lot better than was expected – whether the injury will stand up to training is still to be seen. I love the way he’s filled out around the shoulder and chest.

Second up is Blue Jack;

We bought Blue Jack in the HIT. He has a few problems around his feet and knees but we’re hoping we are on top of them.

Next is the Cadeaux Genereux filly that Michael and I bought in book 1 at Tattersalls last year. She’s not an early type and she isn’t doing a lot at the moment – she looks like a hairy donkey but she’ll scrub up well enough when the time comes;

This next filly is one of the yearlings that Michael and I bought on spec hoping to sell on. No-one came in to buy her so we’ve decided to keep her on – she’s very forward and will be out early. She’s by Elusive City.

Finally a picture I took on my way into Betfair today. This guy was pacing around outside with a placard – he had a gripe about having lost money due to a site outage;
