A bad day yesterday – Major Eazy ran his worst race for a while and I lost a lot of money punting. To make matters worse I twice backed against horses of Pete’s and on both occasions Pete’s horse won. Major Eazy takes a decent break now, which I think is well overdue. I was at Goodwood yesterday, but I won’t go again this week as I’ve got a lot of work to catch up on. I’ll be there on Saturday when Bouguereau finally comes out in a maiden – I’m hopeful of a good run.
No big bets for me today. In the 4.05 I may go small each way on Celestial Halo, who should run a decent race if the pace is strong enough. At Redcar I may oppose the Noseda trained fav in the 3.15 with Queen Noverre.
