Catching up

Mon Michel ran second, ridden to sleep by a horse I suspect will turn out to be pretty decent.  It was disappointing but not surprising – he’ll always be better value at long odds in a competitive handicap than as a short priced favourite in a little race.

Master of the Race ran another poor race – we’ll probably stick him in a claimer somewhere next.  Adam Eterno ran stone last at Brighton.  Brian insists that although he’s no world beater he’s vaigly ok but he hasn’t worked out how to run yet.

The best run of the week was probably Captain Hurricane, who was well beaten (13th of 15) having run into serious traffic problems but looked good.  Ryan Moore was positive after the race and increasingly I believe that one day he may win again.
