Mick Stone is my racing manager, and he’s going to start contributing to my blog. I think this is a good thing – I go through long periods when I can’t find the time to post and Mick will help keep it fresh. He’ll be making stable trips and reporting back, and no doubt he’ll find a lot more to write about. As I said yesterday Shepherd’s Warning runs today in a novice stakes at Ayr. It’s not the ideal race to be running in – if she runs well we could see ourselves going up the weights in a big way – but Nicky is keen to have a go. She’s in good form but this is a class apart from anything she has competed in before.
