Marine Boy goes today in a listed race at Newbury. It’s been frustrating but I still believe in him – clearly the market is losing faith and his price gets ever longer. The overnight rain (assuming it came) is a positive for him – he doesn’t mind how soft it gets.
He’s been disappointing lately but there are no indications to suggest he has gone backwards – he’s just a bit of a tricky ride. His last run won’t have helped – Richard will probably be a bit nervy in the stalls. If he gets away ok and manages to find cover he should go extremely well, and he has plenty of front runners near to him.
I still believe – maybe this is the day.
